Michael Alexander Strauss has performed professionally in the Louisville Symphony, the Opera Company of Boston, the Boston Philharmonic, the Boston Pops, and multiple other symphonies around the world.
He has taught at multiple Universities and countless elementary, middle, and high schools and is beloved by thousands of his students.
Strauss is responsible for launching group violin lessons at public and private schools and writing grant proposals that funded schools with tens of thousands of dollars for music education.
Previously he was the Principal Violist in the Omaha Symphony, Cedar Rapids Symphony and Mid Atlantic Symphony.
At Yale University, he was awarded a Bachelor of Arts Degree, majoring in English Literature and from the New England Conservatory, a Masters Degree, with Distinction in Performance.
He hopes to pass on his knowledge to future generations of musicians through his books, private practice, and community engagement.
